The C-Space co-working facility overlooking Towan Beach in Newquay has been put on the market with a guide price of £1.75 million.
Armed with a £2 million investment from the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly LEP through the Government’s Local Growth Fund, the C-Space project was developed in 2018 on the site of a former hotel, by Crowdfunder and other local businesses.
It serves as Crowdfunder’s head office as well as providing incubation space and hot desking facilities for small local businesses, a café and events space.
At the time it was heralded as a “brilliant addition to Newquay’s economy… providing a dynamic new space for local businesses to innovate and grow”.
It’s future now is less certain, but is considered suitable for a number of potential redevelopment opportunities, including residential.
The sale is being handled by Miller Commercial through an informal tender process on September 1.
