Portloe’s award-winning Lugger Hotel has appointed Matt Redhead to the role of General Manager. Redhead, who grew up and studied in nearby St Austell, joins with more than 20 years’ experience in the travel and tourism industry. Past roles include a decade with Cunard on board the QE2, the iconic Midland hotel in Morecambe, St Michaels Hotel & Spa in Falmouth, as well as the Headland hotel in Newquay.
Redhead said: “I am delighted to be joining such an iconic establishment.
“As someone with significant experience in the South West and Cornwall, I have long admired The Lugger and look forward to upholding the excellent standards with which it is associated.”
