Start-ups from Falmouth University’s venture studio, Launchpad, will be honing their pitching skills next week (Nov 16) in an event aimed at helping them get investment ready.
Pitch in the Pad will see four Launchpad teams deliver their pitch and answer questions from a panel of investors.
Adrian Scales, senior investment manager at Falmouth University, said: “Developing the perfect investor pitch is certainly an art, not a science, and the best way to ascertain whether your pitch conveys the right message is to practice to as many individuals as you can.
“This event will allow our co-founders to present their businesses to a panel of experienced and knowledgeable investors whose feedback will be invaluable in shaping their pitches and potentially their wider commercial strategy. You never know what doors a great pitch might open!”
Pitch in the Pad takes place at the University’s Penryn Campus on Tuesday November 16 from 2pm. Audience members can join in-person or virtually, to book a ticket visit the Eventbrite page.
