A new marketing agency specialising in promoting lifestyle brands and creative SMEs has launched in Cornwall.
The Vine, based in Falmouth, Cornwall was set up specifically to provide marketing services to the wealth of lifestyle brands throughout the UK and in the Southwest in particular. The business was started by Lotte Mahon who was previously Assistant Publisher of cult lifestyle publication Stranger Magazine. Since leaving the magazine Lotte has been immersed in the world of new media marketing and The Vine is a combination of her experience in both of these areas.
Lotte Mahon, commented;
“My aim with The Vine is to demystify marketing and to make it accessible to small businesses that may not have the budget to employ a full time marketing manager. The focus is very much on providing a service for the lifestyle brands and creative businesses that the Southwest lends itself so well to. “
The Vine’s clients are by no means limited to the Southwest, following a recent visit to Surf Shop Expo in Exeter; many other businesses throughout the UK have shown an interest in the marketing agency and Lotte’s knowledge of the lifestyle industry. Currently The Vine has clients including design agencies, bars, surf retailers and record labels, all of which were looking for a friendly, professional and affordable service for their small business.
Lotte has been overwhelmed with the interest The Vine has received even before its official launch;
“I was intending on spending a month moving into our new office and easing into the business slowly but I’ve already had people contact me with work and I’ve been really busy handling projects for new clients – which is fantastic, so I’m not complaining!”
The Vine will be launching with a bang with a party at Eight Bar in Falmouth. The venue was a purposeful choice as Eight Bar is just one of the new additions to The Vine’s client roster.
