Punchbowl & Ladle, refurbishment, hospitality
The Punchbowl & Ladle has reopened its doors following a refurbishment.

The Punchbowl & Ladle near Truro has reopened its doors following an internal revamp.

The traditional thatched Cornish pub has a rich history dating back to the 15th century.

Joining from the Harbour Inn in Porthleven, Annabell O’Neill and Oli Anderson took over the reins of The Punchbowl in May, with Annabell fronting operations as general manager whilst Oli is leading the kitchen team as head chef.

On the refurbishment, Annabell O’Neill said, “The Punchbowl and Ladle is an iconic pub in Cornwall and the touch-up reflects its warm and cosy feel, just with a bit of added sparkle. It’s been brilliant to get to know the locals and welcome visitors in the past few months, and feels great to be able to throw open the doors again and light the fire to show off our new interiors!”

The Punchbowl and Ladle will be open seven days a week to welcome guests back.
