The Family Law Company is firming up its regional presence with the appointment of its first Cornwall-based shareholder, Lucy Theobald.
Theobold initially joined in 2021 to spearhead the company’s strategy of expansion into the county, adding to the long-term bases in Exeter and Plymouth.
She said: “My decision to join The Family Law Company three years ago has led to a really clear and positive new career path for me. I’m delighted to become shareholder and to be able to concentrate on providing top level family law advice to clients in my home county of Cornwall.”
In her new role, Theobold will have a particular responsibility as head of the Truro office and Cornwall growth.
Joint-MD, Norman Hartnell, added: “It is a real pleasure to welcome Lucy to the board. From the day she started, we were confident that she would have a real impact on our business.
“Being able to offer on the ground, specialist family law services to clients in a region that has its own identity in terms of rurality and remoteness has proved a positive move, and much of that is down to Lucy’s commitment.”
