Azets Group has promoted Matt Webb to director of audit for the West Country.
Based at the accountancy company’s Truro office, Webb has over 20 years’ experience in audit practice, working in the UK, Australia and Fiji. Having relocated back to the UK in 2018, he joined Truro-based Kelsall Steele, which subsequently became part of Azets a year later.
Webb is an experienced corporate and charity auditor and a financial accounting specialist with significant experience in both UK GAAP and IFRS. He has broad ranging experience, having worked across a diverse range of clients, from sole traders to global and listed companies, operating in a broad range of industries.
Head of the Truro office, Malcolm Peters, said: “Matt is passionate about helping clients achieve their objectives. He has a huge amount of knowledge and experience to share, which is a great support to the clients he looks after across the south Cornwall region.
“He is also a great support to his colleagues and will be a key part of the future development of this office.”
