Mannings Restaurant will be taking up temporary tented residence within the members’ area at this year’s Royal Cornwall Show.

The double AA rosette award-winning restaurant, based in Truro, will serve up the corporate hospitality at Cornwall’s largest annual event from June 7-9.

The Mannings team will create a world buffet, served with a trademark Mannings twist focusing on Cornish meat, poultry, fish, shellfish, dairy and fresh vegetables.

Mannings’ operations director, Scott Young, said: “We’ll draw on many cooking styles and influences to make our world buffet unique.

“There will be something for everyone to savour and our bar will be stocked with a selection of beers, wines and cocktails from around the world to complement the food.”

Besides the daily, invitation-only president’s lunches and the members’ restaurant, Young is offering the option to arrange bespoke corporate hospitality functions and events for 15-150 guests during the first two days.

“So much business is conducted at the show and we can entertain VIP clients with a gourmet experience within our stylish and comfortable five star venues,” he added.

“Sharing the finest local produce combined with Mannings quality and service at the Royal Cornwall is something I am really looking forward to.”
