Supporting alternative routes to law has seen Truro-based Carly Moore qualify as a chartered legal executive at Foot Anstey.

Supported by the top 100 law firm throughout her studying, Moore has completed a CILEx (the professional body for chartered legal executives, legal practitioner, paralegals and apprentices) Level 6 Fast Track Diploma, alongside a work-based period to qualify, having first completed her law degree at the University of Wales, Swansea.

Legal executives specialise in one area of legal expertise meaning the everyday work of a chartered legal executive lawyer is similar to that of a solicitor. Chartered legal executives sit alongside solicitors in the lawyers’ career framework.

James Collings, partner and head of Foot Anstey’s employment and pensions group, said: “Carly’s achievement is further evidence of the high standards and expertise the firm holds for talent investment. It demonstrates adherence to a best practice quality mark that our clients can trust. It also demonstrates our sizeable expertise to clients, helping them to make an informed decision.”
