A Truro-based provider of vehicle and asset finance for SMEs in the south west has grown rapidly following a change in ownership earlier this year.
Since Ignition was acquired by European fund manager, STAR Capital Partners, in April, the company has welcomed new employees across its broker division, sales and marketing and administration departments, and has appointed new associates to help boost its reach across the south west and beyond.
According to MD, Alan Tutte, the recent expansion is set to continue. He said: “With the emergence of an ever stronger SME sector in the south west, and many businesses looking away from traditional banks to alternative finance solutions, Ignition has a real opportunity to grow and thrive.
“The last financial year was our best year on record, but in order to build on this success it has been essential to expand and strengthen our workforce…and we are actively looking to fill a number of additional positions in the near future.”
