A leading Cornish law firm has promoted six lawyers into senior associate and partner roles.
The promotions have been made in a number of the firm’s specialist teams including commercial property, planning, family law and private client.
Stephens Scown LLP has promoted two of its Truro-based lawyers to partners, bringing the total number of partners at the firm to 53. They are Chris Tofts, from the planning team and Matthew Cross, a specialist in wills, trusts and inheritance planning.
Four solicitors have been promoted to senior associate. They are Sarah Bell, from the firm’s family law team in Truro, Jennifer Burden from the St Austell commercial property team, James Burrows from the dispute resolution team in Truro and Victoria Perry from the commercial property team in Truro.
Stephens Scown’s managing partner, Robert Camp, said: “One of the best parts of my job is being able to recognise talent and hard work through promotions.
“As well as their legal knowledge and expertise, our newly promoted lawyers have all worked hard to improve the client service the firm provides. I’m sure they will continue to bring this flair and enthusiasm to their new roles.”
