2014 proved to be another productive year for Bishop Fleming.

The south west accountancy firm reported 1,000 new clients and 75 new staff across its offices in Bath, Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth, Torquay, Truro, and Worcester.

The firm also saw 42 staff promoted, including two internal appointments to the partnership.

Bishop Fleming’s managing partner, Matthew Lee, said: “Having been the first accountancy firm to win Investors in People accreditation, we take great pride in our policy of ‘growing our own’, while we continue to attract senior specialists from ‘Big Four firms’.

“We are also proud of our staff retention, with 44% having more than five years’ service and 25 staff having more than 20 years service.”

Meanwhile, more than 1,000 new client wins include the world’s leading supplier of technology solutions to the oil and gas industry, and a national company that is overseeing the delivery of a £40 million wind-farm development in Scotland.

Bishop Fleming now has seven offices and 300 staff, serving more than 7,000 clients.
