The annual food fiesta – which takes place in Truro from September 27-29 – is jam-packed with everything that tastes good in Cornwall, and demonstrates the extent to which the Duchy’s food and drink sector has grown.

Over the past decade, Cornwall’s food industry is said to have increased in value by around 40%, with tourists now spending £500 million a year in the county.

The fresh produce in the cake will be donated to local charities.
