Law firm promotes five

South west law firm Stephens Scown has announced five senior promotions of solicitors to associate status.

The Dispute Resolution team benefits from the promotion of Catherine Brealey and Michael Davies.

St Austell-based Brealey qualified as a solicitor in 2008 after training with Stephens Scown, while Davies joined the firm in 2011 having worked for leading commercial firms in Manchester and Cardiff.

Giles Dunning joined the corporate team in 2009 after training with Stephens Scown and deals with corporate transactional work, while Chris Tofts joined the Truro planning team last year from the Cornwall Council pricing department.

Karan Toor joined Stephens Scown in July 2012 and is based in the Renewable Energy team.
