Truro-based insurance firm Cornish Mutual has been named in the UK’s Top 100 insurance companies for the first time.
The Top 100 league table, drawn up annually by industry journal Post Magazine, ranks insurers by total gross written premiums. Cornish Mutual’s inclusion in this year’s list reflects sustained growth over recent years for the business.
MD, Alan Goddard, said: “It’s very pleasing to be included within the Top 100 for the first time as this clearly reflects the growth that the company has enjoyed over recent years and our position as a regional insurer of national significance.”
Cornish Mutual is the only general insurer in the south west, with 24,000 members across Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset.
