Accountant scoops tax writer award

A partner at the Truro office of accountancy firm Francis Clark, has been named Tax Writer of the Year at the LexisNexis Taxation Awards 2012.

John Endacott received the award for his writing over the last year in print, on websites and on social media – notably on Westcountry tax issues such as furnished holiday letting.

Speaking after the awards, he said: “The LexisNexis awards are some of the most prestigious in the industry, so I am absolutely delighted to win the award for Tax Writer of the Year. It’s a great honour to be recognised by my peers.”

Francis Clark also picked up the award for Best Tax Practice in a regional firm, which follows the firm previously winning the LexisNexis award in the category of Best General Tax Practice in 2009 and the Financial Directors’ Excellence Awards as mid-tier Auditor of the Year 2011.
