South west construction firm Mulberry has strengthened its coverage in the region with the opening of a new office in Truro.
Three new jobs have been immediately created by Mulberry’s new office, which will offer a full range of building, repair and improvement works in residential and commercial projects across the region.
Mulberry director, Cary Burwood, commented: “Times are tough for many in the construction industry, but we see this important office opening as a long-term investment and it strengthens our position as a leading construction firm in the West Country.”
Cary and her husband Marcus Burwood, who together established Mulberry in 2003, are clear there are limits to the firm’s future expansion.
She said: “Our strategy is simple we are a West Country firm, employing West Country skilled tradesmen and using local suppliers whenever possible.
“Whilst we are absolutely committed to growing Mulberry, our future growth is focused on strengthening our position within the region.”
