The Royal Cornwall Museum has announced details of its new corporate sponsorship package.
Opportunities now include headline sponsorship and official partner categories. Sponsors will have access to various benefits such as extensive branding within the confines of the museum as well as exhibition, promotional and advertising branding; private viewings and hospitality opportunities
Georgia Butters, head of development and communications at the Royal Cornwall Museum, said: “We are looking forward to maximising the commercial partnerships potential of the museum. Our new sponsorship programme will hopefully deliver robust partnerships for national companies with a business interest in Cornwall and also offer the opportunity for local companies who want to invest and support the development of the museum.”
At present the museum is funded through a mixed economy of retail, private giving and public investment, with the emphasis on public investment. Over the coming years it intends to realign its operations to manage with less public investment and develop more creative and commercial opportunities for the private sector.
