A Truro-based planning and architectural consultancy has been honoured during a visit from the president of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).

Martin Willey stopped off at Laurence Associates’ Lemon Street offices along with the regional chair of the RTPI, Andrew England, during a tour of the region.

Willey said: “I am hugely impressed by the approach of this small but growing consultancy to the delivery of sustainable development for which the South West region is capturing such a high reputation.”

Laurence Osborne, Laurence Associates’ managing director, said: “It is hugely satisfying for a practice based in Truro, to receive such recognition from the Mr Willey, the president of our professional institute.

“We consider our Chartered Town Planning status to be fundamental to our role as planning consultants to the regional construction industry.”
