A new website has been launched to showcase the St Austell area for residents and visitors alike.
The initiative has been led by St Austell Bay Economic Forum (SABEF) – a group of local businesses, public bodies, and community organisations.
Over six years ago SABEF recognised that a local website to champion St Austell would be an asset to the area. Thanks to the initial support from a group of local sponsors and willing volunteers, the site took shape, giving it the basis on which to build the new design.
Now, the reimagined website has a whole new look and feel. Content rich and regularly updated by the local team, St Austell’s new website aims to offer a central resource of information, news, practical advice, and timely event details to support local businesses, clubs, groups, and services.
Peter Moody, curator of the St Austell website, SABEF deputy chair and St Austell Print Company MD, said: “We know St Austell is an area with so much to offer, from internationally renowned gardens and world heritage sites to fantastic local businesses, creative communities and brilliant community events.
“We hope that St Austell’s new website will help our community to safely reconnect, foster positive experiences and support the local economy.”
