St Austell Brewery has teamed up with Bulk Buy – the WestCounty Group’s new home delivery service – to enable people to order top-selling beers and wines with their grocery shop.

WestCountry – the largest independent fresh food distributor in the region – is offering the convenient delivery service to enable people to stay at home during the pandemic and help those who aren’t able to visit the supermarket to buy essential items.

Bulk Buy has set up a new page on its website, to showcase St Austell’s range, including Tribute Pale Ale, Korev Lager and Proper Job IPA – Bath Ales’ Gem, and a selection of wines from around the world.

Beers are available to purchase per case and wines by the bottle. Bulk Buy’s broad product range also includes fresh produce, milk and dairy, kitchen groceries and cleaning products.

The new service offers next day delivery – Monday to Saturday, between 7am and 7pm. Deliveries cost £6, with orders over the value of £100 delivered for free. Orders can be made over the phone or by email and must reach a minimum of £50 in value for delivery. Alternatively, customers who live locally to WestCountry’s depots in Falmouth, St Austell and Newton Abbott, can collect grocery orders of any value the following day, between 1pm and 4pm.

Roger Rossignol, WestCountry’s co-managing director said: “As one of our long-standing partners, we are delighted to be able to promote and distribute St Austell Brewery’s beers and wines on Bulk Buy.

“We hope to provide a useful facility during these difficult times, helping take some pressure off supermarkets and enable people to get essential shopping straight to their front door. We want to make sure that we’re offering a wide variety of products for our customers, so we’re delighted to have a local West Country producer like St Austell on board.”

Andrew Turner, MD of St Austell Brewery’s beers and brands, added: “We’re proud to be partnering with Bulk Buy – we have had a long-standing relationship with WestCountry so to be able to collaborate and make a fantastic baskets of goods available for peoples homes during these very difficult times is hopefully well received.

“Pubs may be closed across the country but we’re glad to still be able to deliver our beers and wines to customers supporting us from their homes.”
