A new hub for social enterprises and business start-ups has opened in St Austell.
Home to the School for Social Entrepreneurs Cornwall, the ‘SSE Cornwall HUB’ is aiming to attract start-up businesses, community and charity organisations, as well as social enterprises, to utilise its office space, meeting room hire and flexi desk facilities.
Hub facilities include Broadband BT Infinity as well as free WiFi, mainline transport links and local catering for meetings.
The offices are flexible and affordable and rates include utilities and access to communal kitchens.
Sally Heard, SSE Cornwall’s CEO, commented: “I am excited to see how the SSE Cornwall HUB is growing, attracting businesses with great social purpose and enabling like-minded entrepreneurs to collaborate.
