A Cornish company has produced a new range of snack bars aimed at the fast-growing healthy snacking market.
The Get Fruity Bars, from St Austell-based Get Fruity Foods, are the brainchild of CEO Davina Whiteoak, who recently relocated back to Cornwall after extensive experience with some of the biggest names in the UK and international food industry.
She said: “I could see there was a gap in the market for something of this nature because I’m always charging around and find it hard to lay my hands on something that’s quick and convenient to eat, tastes great, but is also good for me.”
Get Fruity Bars are a blend of fruit and wholegrain oats with fruit juice and virgin coconut oil, and come in three flavours – Moist Mixed Berry, Scrumptious Strawberry or Juicy Apricot, Orange & Ginger.
They are produced in Cornwall, and are available from a rapidly expanding range of outlets including the Cornish Food Box Company, the Eden Project and Stein’s Deli, Padstow.
I’ve tried these bars and they are scrummy. Great to have something healthy & wholesome to snack on. Use then to fuel my long runs.
