Local food and drink producers were in Westminster last week, showcasing their wares as part of a landmark local supplier event hosted by Tesco.
St Austell Brewery and St Ewe Eggs were among 19 Tesco suppliers from across the south west that attended the event to display their local produce to a number of MPs at Central Hall in Westminster.
Sarah Mackie, Tesco’s head of local sourcing, said: “The event illustrates the fantastic range and quality offered by our local suppliers. We want to continue to develop these positive, sustainable relationships, so that we can support local businesses, increase our range of locally sourced produce and give our customers the best of south west produce.”
