Plans for The Green Build Hub, a blueprint for the future of sustainable building in Cornwall and beyond, go on show to the public next month.
A construction site has been earmarked at Eden and the scheme’s backers hope to start work as soon as possible – providing planners give the green light.
The building will be a “living laboratory’ for testing materials and using new construction methods to make the building fit for today and the future.
The mission is to make it as energy efficient as possible, through its construction and throughout its lifetime.
The brainchild of Cornwall Sustainable Building Trust, the development will be managed by Sustain Cornwall Ltd (SCL) and Ocean Services, assisted by Ward Williams Associates’ Green Team.
People can find out about the project at the Green Build Cornwall event at Eden on May 17. To register your attendance at the free event, click here.
