HRH The Earl of Wessex has been in Cornwall, meeting local dignitaries and businesses.
His first port of call was Telegraph Museum Porthcurno, which was celebrating its first birthday since reopening.
The Earl of Wessex enjoyed a guided tour around the museum’s new exhibits lead by honorary curator, John Packer, and chairman of the trustees, Dave Foot.
Foot said: “I feel privileged to have been part of the museum’s development over the years, and I am immensely proud of the work completed by the team to create the museum we enjoy today.”
Later, The Earl of Wessex visited the Rodda’s creamery, at Scorrier.
MD, Nicholas Rodda, said: “It is an incredible honour for us to host and share our family legacy with The Earl of Wessex in our 125th year.
“We were very proud to be able to show him how we produce what we believe is the best cream in the world.”
