A Cornish renewable energy company sent a powerful message to world leaders as they flew in for the G7 Summit – written in flowers.

The statement – ‘G7….ACT NOW!!’ is located immediately adjacent to the airport flight path.

Dean Robson, MD of CleanEarth Energy, explained: “This is not a political statement. We feel it our duty, as a business whose main purpose is to protect the environment and as human beings passionate about a carbon-free energy generation, to call the government to action. We’d hope that the Government can see that the implications of their relative inactivity are now blindingly obvious.”

He continued: “We hope the G7 enjoy their time in Cornwall. We also hope that they do not ignore our ‘welcome’, and that they recognise the message is representative of public opinion.”
