Cedar Croft Nurseries in St Tudy is expanding its thriving Christmas tree business.
Owner Mark Orchard has acquired an additional six acres of land, which means he will soon have 20 acres planted with Christmas trees that include the traditional Norway Spruce, the needlefast Nordmann fir, the Noble fir, the Fraser fir as well species of Serbian, Orientalis and Grandis firs.
Orchard said: “This land will enable me to grow more trees and provide a range of species. I already grow around 20,000 trees and I plant continuously so that my customers can have a range of heights and sizes to choose from.”
