Coodes Solicitors has added to the commercial property team at its Truro office.
Paula Dunkley has relocated to Cornwall from Northampton, and admits she had her eye on Coodes for some time.
She commented: “When I decided to leave my previous firm, I knew that I wanted to live closer to the coast, so that I could get out on the water more often and brush up my sailing skills.
“I was looking to join a firm which was both proactive in the current market and professional, but at the same time offered a friendly environment to work in.
“Coodes particularly appealed to me as it was able to offer to me the work I wished to specialise in, which includes a broad spectrum of commercial property matters and business transfers.”
It was Dunkley’s extensive experience in commercial property that impressed Coodes. Partner, Peter Lamble, said: “We’ve seen a clear upturn in the amount of work we are carrying out in that area, so it made sense to bring Paula on board.
“She will enhance the team we already have offering that service and we’re sure she will be well liked by our clients.”
