Two iconic Cornish pubs with rooms are re-opening for spring, following extensive winter refurbishments.
St Austell Brewery’s Harbour Inn, in Porthleven, reopened its doors over the Easter weekend with bedrooms available to book for overnight stays from this weekend (Apr 15). The Rising Sun in St Mawes will also be reopening its doors in early May.
Located at the heart of two Cornish communities, these cosy boltholes on the south coast will offer new-look interiors throughout, fresh locally caught seafood, cask ales, craft beers, and bedrooms with sea view.
Andrew Turner, chief operating officer at St Austell Brewery, said: “The Harbour Inn and the Rising Sun are special pubs, which are woven into the history of St Mawes and Porthleven.
“We’re excited to welcome everybody back – old friends and new faces – to share what our we’ve been working on over the winter months.”
