Luxury holiday lettings company Cornish Gems has revealed details of a major rebrand and leadership change.

The business, which was founded in 2007 by friends Julianne Shelton and Nadia Macer-Wright, has brought in two new directors to oversee the day-to-day business operations of the company.

People and culture director, Tamsin Huddy, and commercial director, Michelle Baillie, bring a wealth of experience from within the travel and tourism sector. Baillie spent over 20 years at TUI as head of retail while Huddy boasts 25 years’ experience in various sectors of the tourism industry, including specialist tour operation and hotels.

Meanwhile, following an extensive 12-month process, Cornish Gems has revamped its branding, taking inspiration from the county’s “unique sense of place and heritage”.

“Our fifteenth anniversary celebrations presented an opportunity to better reflect our evolution as a growing independent business,” said co-managing director Julianne Shelton.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Michelle and Tamsin to their new roles to lead this exciting next chapter – and to reveal our new brand, which so cleverly captures our ethos, offering and a refreshed proposition. This is a milestone moment for us and the start of an exciting new chapter, as we continue to set the highest standard for holiday homes in Cornwall.”
