One of South Cornwall’s newest luxury retreats, Hotel Meudon near Mawnan Smith, is celebrating having achieved Gold at the Taste of the West Awards 2021/2022 in both the Hotel and Restaurant categories.
Hotel Meudon, which reopened under new ownership in May 2021 following an extensive refurbishment, was described by the judge as providing “an exceptional guest experience”.
Speaking about Restaurant Meudon, the judge went on to say: “The food was excellent, the presentation and service were really ‘as good as it gets’ in our view.
General Manager, Samantha Banks, was overjoyed with the results. “To win these awards and receive such delightful praise during our first year of trading is incredible and we are absolutely thrilled, to put it mildly!”
