The Valley Cottages in Truro has signed up to join leading dog-friendly travel company PetsPyjamas for its ‘We’re Barking Britain’ campaign.

Encouraging owners to flex their hound pound, the new campaign is based on encouraging at least 10% of the nation’s 9.9 million dog owners to take their holiday in the UK in 2020, to try to generate more than £2 billion for the country’s hospitality industry.

The Valley Cottages joins more than 120 hound-picked hotels and self-catering properties throughout the UK who are offering Barking Britain petaways, with local produce or a local experience being part of the break.

The Valley Cottages’ MD, Alex Horsfall, said: “We’re delighted to be part of PetsPyjamas’ ‘We’re Barking Britain’ campaign, as it’s great to see several companies coming together in partnership to not only help the industry recover, but also give to good causes in a time they need it most.”
