Mother Ivey’s Bay Holiday Park is putting its opening for the new season back a month, due to the spread of Covid-19.

The popular holiday park near Padstow was due to open on March 27, but owner Patrick Langmaid has now put this back for hiring and touring guests to April 25. The park will be open to owners on March 27 as planned.

Langmaid said: “I appreciate that while some guests will be relieved, others will be disappointed, and I sincerely apologise for causing that upset, but I am determined that Mother Ivey’s plays its part helping to flatten the curve of infection, for the benefit of everyone.”

A full refund will be given to those who have had their holiday cancelled.
