A family of Cornish hotels has expanded its team with the appointment of a regional events and marketing manager.

Providence Hospitality, which manages the Old Quay House in Fowey and the Rosevine on the Roseland Peninsula, has appointed Nicola O’Donnell to the role to build the event offerings across both venues, including weddings and corporate events.

O’Donnell has ten years of experience in events and marketing both in London and Cornwall, having previously worked at Lusty Glaze in Newquay.

She said: “It is a real privilege to work with such a strong portfolio of venues that is growing rapidly. The two hotels differ in their offerings, but both with quality at their heart.

“I’m looking forward to working with clients to create special events in amazing locations – utilising each of the property’s unique features, such as the waterfront terrace at the Old Quay House and breathtaking views at the Rosevine.”

Providence Hospitality has also promoted Martin Nicholas to the newly-created role of regional manager, following his time as hotel manager at the Old Quay House. In this position he will head up the management and expansion of Providence throughout the south west.
