After an intensive programme of work, Springfields Fun Park near Newquay is gearing up for its busiest period since its new owners took over.

Steve and Kate Taylor started running the business with their children in June last year and have spent the winter improving the 35-acre site.

As well as undertaking a schedule of extensive repair, the family-team has vastly improved the park’s appearance, made changes in the indoor play areas and even homed a number of new animals for everyone to enjoy.

In addition to the obvious visual changes former visitors will notice, the park’s owners have also worked hard to make significant changes behind the scenes.

As well as improving safety across the site, the team has recently been awarded a level five for its food hygiene. It’s the highest possible grading any commercial kitchen can receive and is testament to the family’s commitment to ensuring visitors have the best possible experience.

Employment opportunities have also been created across the park with more than ten new members of staff set to be employed as the attraction gears up for a busy season.

Steve Taylor said: “The team are really excited about fully re-opening our doors after months of hard work and investment in the park. We kept the indoor play facilities open over the winter months so families and child minders could continue to enjoy the space in all weathers but we can’t wait to unveil all that’s been happening in our vast outdoor space.”

Springfields Fun Park fully opens its doors on Friday March 25 at 10am.
