Former Taylor Wimpey board member and Government adviser, Peter Andrew, has joined We are Cornwall as a non-executive director.
Andrew was previously land and planning director for the national housebuilder and one of four practitioners involved in the drafting of the National Planning Policy Framework for then planning minister, Greg Clarke.
He currently works three days a week in London as deputy chairman of the Home Builders Federation (HBF), as well as providing advice to the home building sector.
“I’m delighted that Pete is helping to drive We are Cornwall forward,” said MD Sue Bradbury.
“He has tremendous experience of strategic development and, from the start, has been an enthusiastic supporter of all that we are trying to do with the website and its related activities.
“I’m confident that, with his invaluable assistance, 2016 will see considerable expansion and improvement.”
We are Cornwall was launched by Sue Bradbury PR in March to provide visitors with a local guide to the county.
