According to caravan enthusiasts, Cornwall is the most romantic travel destination, even more so than that traditional city of love, Paris.
A poll carried out by caravan insurance specialist Cover4Caravans, had 16% of customers citing Cornwall as the most romantic place they had ever been to.
This easily beat the second most popular destination for lovers – Devon and Scotland, which both received 8% of the vote.
The Lake District polled 5%, just ahead of Cyprus on 4%. Venice and Paris – traditionally seen as the romance capitals – got just 1% of votes each.
The survey was asked to people who go caravanning for holidays.
I highly doubt many of them have thought about going on a caravan holiday to Paris…
