Helston-based holiday lettings agency, Classic Cottages, has recruited a new head of marketing as part of a major expansion which has seen the group’s workforce increase by 50% over the last three years.
Nick Webb has joined as group head of marketing as it grows its senior management team to oversee all four brands – Classic Cottages, Aspects Holidays, Boutique Retreats and Classic Glamping.
Webb has worked as a director at Bare Feet Promotions in Cornwall for 12 years, leading event management campaigns for international brands like Ford, ITV and Animal.
He said: “Classic Cottages is already an industry leader in the holiday lettings business and I’m excited to be joining the team as the company manages growth with four highly respected brands now within the group.
“I’m looking forward to the challenge of marketing the company internationally as it continues to grow.”
The marketing role was previously managed by Classic chairman, Simon Tregoning, but the growth of the business in the last three years has meant the senior management team needed to expand.
Tregoning said: “We are delighted to welcome Nick to the team. His wealth of marketing experience at national, international and local levels will be a great asset in our continuing quest to be the best marketers in our industry.”
