Airport numbers continue to grow

Newquay Airport has reported that passenger numbers continued to grow in July with over 30,000 people travelling through the airport, resulting in an increase of 24% compared with July 2013.

This positive trend is also reflected in the year to date figures which show Jan – July 2014 passenger numbers were up 32% versus the same period in 2013.

Airport MD, Al Titterington, said “I’m really pleased to see all of our services performing well and in particular our new daily Birmingham service operated by Flybe which has already carried over 9,000 passengers since the route commenced in May.”
