St Austell Printing Company and Conference Centre will appear on German television for a second time after offices at the £6.2 million site were transformed for the latest Rosamund Pilcher film.
German film production company FFP New Media, which has been shooting across Cornwall, has turned the Printing Company and Conference Suites into the home of a pharmaceutical company.
It is part of the latest adaptation, Try Before You Trust or “Trau Schau Wem”, staring Jana Klinge as the female lead Anna and Kai Scheve as male lead Ben.
Beth Mayman, St Austell Business Park’s conference and events manager, said: “We’re really pleased to welcome back FFP New Media to St Austell Business Park.
“It’s great to see the filming process and watch as the crew turn areas of the building into different sets.
“The filming is a great boost for the local economy in terms of the actual production team and the visitors from Germany who are inspired to come here on holiday.”
An estimated 250,000 Germans to come to Cornwall every year as a result of their interest in the films.
