The move is the latest in a number of strategic developments designed to help the company build closer relationships with its customers.

The new concept will have a coffee shop with an entrance on Tregenna Hill, which will also act as a front of house to the lettings office behind – with its entrance on Street-an-Pol.

‘The Coffee Lounge’ will be open every day for locals and visitors, as well as property owners and Cornish Gems’ clients – who are being encouraged to come in and talk to the team.

Managing co-director of Cornish Gems, Nadia Durrant, said: “Our St Ives office and coffee lounge forms part of our strategic development, following the opening of our regional office in Carbis Bay at the beginning of the year.

“Our clients can now speak to our team face-to-face in our new offices, whilst also enjoying the benefits of our relaxing coffee lounge on Tregenna Hill.”

Founder and managing co-director, Julianne Shelton, added: “Our ethos ensures our customers remain at the forefront of our business.”

To help cater for the expansion, Chris Lambert has joined the Cornish Gems team to manage the coffee shop, having previously worked as club steward at St Ives RFC.
