Holidaymakers to the Roseland will now have up-to-date visitor information thanks to a partnership between three local organisations.
The Roseland Visitor Centre, St Just in Roseland Parish Council and Fal River Cornwall have teamed up to provide a new wayfinding noticeboard between Tregony and St Mawes.
The board replaces the map at the Trenonna layby, which had fallen in to disrepair after it had been left for several years.
Chris Williams, St Just in Roseland Parish Councillor, said: “We’re very pleased to have the new wayfinding noticeboard in place.
“The previous one had fallen into disrepair after been left for a number of years and it did not portray the welcome you’d want to give a visitor to the area.”
The board features information about Tregony, Porthscatho, St Mawes, Veryan, Philleigh, St Just in Roseland and Ruan Lanihorne, as well highlighting the facilities on offer.
Fal River Cornwall’s marketing manager, Toby Budd, who provided the area map, said: “Once again this shows that local organisations working in partnership can provide valuable resources for visitors to the area.”
