Flybe has confirmed that its seasonal routes to Belfast City, Newcastle and Norwich will return next year as part of its summer schedule from Newquay Cornwall Airport.

Tickets for these routes have gone on sale this week, joining those available to Glasgow through its franchise partner, Loganair.

The returning routes to Norwich, Newcastle and Belfast City will all operate on a Saturday; with flights to Glasgow on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays. This brings Flybe’s summer schedule from Newquay to a total of six key regional destinations.

Newquay Cornwall Airport’s MD, Al Titterington, commented: “Negotiating the return of these flights for 2013 is a great boost for the airport.

“This year the new destinations were a popular addition to our summer schedule and to offer them to passengers next year indicates that there is a strong demand.

“The airport is continually looking to improve the accessibility to and from Cornwall for both the business and leisure traveller and importantly to aid driving revenue for Cornish businesses during the summer months.”
