Cornwall’s official online travel and tourism guide has been shortlisted in the British Interactive Media Awards (BIMA) 2012.
visitcornwall.com has been nominated in the Best Leisure and Culture category but faces some high profile competition.
VisitCornwall’s digital marketing manager, Lauren Hogan, said: “To be shortlisted for an award alongside media leaders such as the BBC is a huge achievement and establishes Cornwall as a leader in digital marketing.”
Last month, visitcornwall.com was named Best Tourist Board Website in the UK TravelMole Web Awards, while it is also in the running for Best UK Visitor Guide Website in the British Travel Awards.
The BIMAs celebrate the best of British digital. Finalists have been judged by 50 of the leading practitioners in digital in a record number of submissions and are said to be the “cream of an incredibly high standard” across the board.
The BIMAs will be held in London on November 22.
