St Michael’s Hotel & Spa in Falmouth received a surprise unofficial visit from Channel 5’s Hotel Inspector recently and passed with flying colours.
Hotelier Alex Polizzi was in town for filming at a nearby hotel and chose to stay at St Michael’s.
Over a morning coffee, a slightly anxious proprietor, Nigel Carpenter, took the opportunity to introduce himself and was” totally charmed” by Polizzi who complimented the hotel on “such friendly and helpful staff”.
She said: “I must compliment you on your mattress and pillows, I had one of the best night’s sleep I have ever had”.
