Jubilee bookings holiday boost

cornwallscottages.co.uk has reported a 100% occupancy rate during the June half term and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

The Truro-based holiday lettings agency, which markets accommodation on behalf of owners throughout the county, sold out of its 225 properties as visitors flocked to the Duchy.

Managing director, Richard Beaman, said: “The Jubilee week was a great success for us and we have the double bank holiday to thank for that.

“Right now we are 7% ahead of where we were last year on like for like sales and we are working hard towards the summer.”
