Cornwall Council Licensing is holding three forums to offer advice to holiday park and campsite owners on new proposed camping and caravan site licence conditions and site safety.
The new site licence condition forums will be held on:
- Wednesday June 20 (9.30am – 1.30pm) at the Council Chamber, St Austell
- Thursday June 21 (2pm – 5pm) at the Council offices, Dolcoath Avenue, Camborne
- Friday June 22 from (1.30pm – 5pm) at the Council Chamber at Higher Trenant, Wadebridge.
The forums will review new proposed site licence conditions which have been the subject of a consultation with holiday park and campsite owners.
There will also be advice on gas and electrical safety with publications available free of charge.
Graham Bailey, senior licensing enforcement officer, said: “For many years health and safety legislation has dictated that both electrical and gas installations (natural and LPG) must be maintained and operated in a safe condition.
“We want to help holiday park and campsite owners be aware of their obligations and help them fulfil them.”
