A new guide for Falmouth is being launched after three of the town’s leading organisations formed a partnership.
The 2012 Falmouth Town Guide is being produced by The Fal River Visitor Information Centre in partnership with Falmouth Town Council and Falmouth BID.
The new guide will replace the Town Council’s current bi-annual town guide and the Falmouth Tourism Partnership’s accommodation guide.
Nicola Kneebone, manager of The Fal River Visitor Information Centre, said: “We are delighted to be working so closely with Falmouth Town Council and Falmouth BID to bring together the main marketing strands for Falmouth, and hope we are able to reach out to even more people than before.
“We want to produce an up to date and attractive guide that benefits both visitors and the local community.
“We still get many enquiries for printed material, and have found there is still a demand for this kind of guide.
40,000 of the new, free 100-page A5 pocket-sized guides will be produced in time for Easter.
It will feature information on the town including detailed mapping, a shopping guide, places to eat and accommodation.
