Falmouth’s Green Lawns Hotel has appointed a new general manager.
Neil Slade has spent his entire career in a variety of West Country hotels, having tackled every job from kitchen hand to general manager.
His appointment follows a return to Cornwall from Somerset, where he managed the Cedar Falls Health Farm and Country Estate.
He commented: “The Green Lawns has a great reputation in the local community and is well known for its good food, wonderful wines and real hospitality. I am excited about my appointment and I relish the prospect of working alongside the hotel’s excellent management team to further raise our profile in Falmouth and the wider region.”
MD Bob Collings added: “Neil is well known to Falmouth having played prominent roles in some of the towns leading establishments. His energy and optimism are truly contagious; already there is a noticeable ‘bounce’ throughout the hotel. We are very much looking forward to future improvements, continued growth and to cementing the hotel as a popular choice for any occasion.”
